I went through this hustle to find the top choice for vlogging. So, if you are looking for quality with specifications in the cameras, I have some top best options for you here to make your search process easy. Choose for yourself what is best for you and worth the money.

Canon PowerShot G7X Mark III

Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled

Canon Powershot G7X Mark III is my all-time favorite for clicks and movie making for Vlogging. So ideally the best choice for all purposes. It has 20.1MP with a CMOS sensor. The 4.2x optical zoom lens goes from 24 to 100mm, which is an impeccable feature in such a handy camera. This makes it roughly equal to the video capturing the quality of DSLR. It also comes with a very enhanced f stop that is f/1. 8 to 2. 8 which allows you to work in different light depths. Moreover, the range of f stop from 1.8 to 2.8 depends on what focal you are capturing with, will work wonders in low light.

It has an optical image stabilizer which means less or no blurring when you are vlogging. This is my favorite feature of this camera. So, if I go hiking and my camera is with me, I can still vlog easily. The image will not be blurry or shaky. Moreover, if you want to capture something extremely fast, all you need to do is to take out this camera. It has improved autofocus for movie Servo autofocus. It offers you two choices for AF: Mode1 and Mode2. However, it has given me some issues with tracking the very fast-moving objects and lost AF. Still, it’s better than the others.

Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled

It comes with a fast DIGIC 8 processor which enhances the quality of images processing.  This spec in the camera also helps in face detection and can create 4k video at 30 FPS which is the consuming feature for vlogging. 4k videos are so vividly real, that the viewer may find it happening right in front of their eyes. You don’t need to go for extra editing when you are using this camera.

You can capture moments of your family and kids playing. However, if you are vlogging about pretty much anything, you can get this camera, just to avoid transferring your videos to another device and going through a hustle for uploading. This camera allows you to directly upload on YouTube channel. That is, you can stream live to your YouTube channel. And as I’ve tried, it works amazing. You can pair this best camera with Bluetooth and WIFI with your devices.

The most impeachable and amazing characteristic because of which I’ve used it for vlogging is its flipping tilt screen which allows you to record easily looking at yourself. You can also hold the camera from the tilting screen which is 7.5 cm (3.0”) and touchscreen LCD (TFT). It has a very smallholder on the right side to help you hold the camera for the grip.

Pros
  • Pros:

  • Tilt-up screen for low angle and selfie

  • red-eye correction during playback
  • self-timer can be set
  • it has zoom plus of 8.4x and combined zoom approximately 17x
  • it has auto-level image stabilization feature
  • live streaming to YouTube and connectivity through WIFI and Bluetooth to other devices
  • you can directly transfer and upload the videos
  • 120 fps full HD movies can be achieved
  • Shift from manual to auto
  • It is very handy

Cons
  • Its autofocus for inanimate objects is not that good
  • If you are recording a fast-moving object, it might give you issues of blur or unfocused images.

Sony a7 III Full-Frame Mirrorless

Sony a7 III Full-Frame Mirrorless

If you want the best camera for vlogging at a reasonable price, I guess this is the one for you. However, I would personally recommend this camera for the ones which are into vlogging for some time. As for me, I am used to using this camera without the flip on screen. So, you will need some time to adjust yourself without looking at the screen.  Sony A7 R series are designed for photography, whereas the A7 S range is designed for video. However, this A7 series is specially designed to work with both photography and video.

You can create simultaneously amazing photos for your Instagram linked account with your vlogging channel. It has 10 different color profiles for making a perfect video. The autofocus is amazing as it has a feature of eye AF mode for eye detection. It uses 693 phase-detection AF points and 425 positioned contrast-detection autofocus points. It has 2 times faster autofocus which can catch fast-moving objects. You can also control the focus from the screen as well.  If you are working like me in both high and low light, It has a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor which means beast qualities of video. This camera is equipped with specifications (ISO 100-51200) that allow you to have detailed images and reduced noise. In short, I’ve made loads of vlogging content with this camera as it shoots 4k video.

Sony a7 III Full-Frame Mirrorless

  • Its battery life is plenty enough to work for you a long time.

  • It has 10 different color profiles you can choose for your best vlogging content.

Cons
  • The camera doesn’t shoot 10 bits video
  • You can shoot 4k at 60fps videos but that is only 100 megabits per seconds
  • It has NO flip on the screen

Panasonic Lumix G85 4K

Panasonic Lumix G85 4K

This Panasonic Lumix G85 camera looks like a DSLR in its shape and gives me a feeling of having a DSLR. Plus, its body is so weathered immune. For my peek adventures, I’ve taken out this amazing camera in summers or while snowing and it is a tough beast. This camera can be the best option for your vlogging. It can give a boost to your content. It has a 16-megapixel micro four-thirds sensor through which you can achieve a very defined product.

It has class-leading dual stabilization, which works both in motion and static images. It has lenses stabilization, body stabilization as well as E stabilization. During extreme motion, like running as well as holding the camera, this feature has worked wonders in improving stabilization. The camera uses DFD 49-point contrast-detect autofocus yielding very positive results in low light and other cases. You can also change the autofocus for any object form the touch screen. This camera has improved its autofocus from the previous cameras. However, it tries to adjust sometimes, even making noises when autofocus is trying to adjust.

Panasonic Lumix G85 4K

When we talk about resolution, you can make 4k video with 30fps and 24fps, however, at 1080 you can go up to 60 fps. The battery of this camera does not give you a lot so you have to get yourself equipped with the extra batteries only if you are heavy vlogging. You can connect this camera with WIFI which is a very good feature, even if you want to connect to the website.

I prefer recording in one go for more natural results. This camera record at length in one memory card unless it is to full. It has a tilt screen display that can help you in creating better content. The recommendation for you all would be to update the firmware at the beginning that would change your experience positively.

Pros
  • It has a weather-resistant body
  • You can autofocus in low light
  • It has a flip articulating Display screen that can be titled
  • You can achieve better magnification with built-in EVF
  • It has dual image stabilization for perfect content creation
  • You can also make a time-lapse with this camera
  • It has two battery slots
  • It starts very quickly so you don’t miss anything important

Cons
  • Its battery life is very low, even though it comes with a double battery grip
  • Its flash is not very strong which gives less coverage
  • It does not come with an external jack for headphones

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is kind of a starter vlogging camera. It is designed in a way that it operates in all kinds of weather, splash-proof, and freeze proof, even in -10 degree centigrade. You can shoot in the rain as well. A feature that supports vlogging in tough conditions and adventures, just like me. It is 20 megapixels with a 4/3 live MOS sensor. The image sensor has also supersonic wave filter that can detect dust and leads to dust reduction.

It has Olympus built-in sensor stabilization. It has the feature of 4k videos which is available at 24 P, 25P, and 30 P. The image stabilization is very important when it comes to vlogging. It has astonishing in-body 5-axis image stabilization. I tried vlogging with and without image stabilization on and it creates a lot of difference. Without image stabilization, the video is extremely shaky and very difficult to watch.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III

The battery of the camera will not give you a long time to shoot. It may record for approximately 45 minutes maximum. You can charge your camera with the USB slot available means no need of taking out the battery. It has also been installed with hybrid autofocus. You can also select the focus form the digital screen. It has both face and eye recognition features. 120 fps makes it possible to record slow-motion videos as well. It also has a microphone input that you can use for video recording. Overall, it is a remarkable camera for vlogging, though it has given me issues with the battery in long intervals of shootings.

Pros
  • You will get very natural videos
  • It has a tilting angular screen
  • The digital screen is a touch screen.
  • Exposure setting is on the physical dial rather than in setting
  • You can use the stereo microphone input
  • It has a hybrid autofocus
  • 4k videos are available at 24 P, 25P and 30 P
  • Its 5-axis image stabilizer provides perfect content for your adventurous Vlogging.

Cons

  • The battery doesn’t last for long though it depends on what you are using on the camera
  • It has no headphone jack
  • It doesn’t give the feature of HDR video.

The screen is a digital screen/ touch screen camera.  You can shoot your videos with 24 fps, 30 fps, 60 fps, and 120 fps, however, you can attain 1080 resolution only through 30fps, and through 60fps you can shoot both 720 and 1080. However, at 120 fps, you can get only 720 resolution. You can get 4k video through this camera in 24 fps. It works very well but it crops the frame.

Also, you can link it to the cloud account through the GoPro app. There is no feature of optical zoom which means you will need to crop.

GoPro HERO8 Black

This camera has three levels of stabilization. All three can be opted according to the desired circumstances in which you are vlogging. However, you cannot switch on boost on the 4k 30p super view. You can also speed and slow down your videos right there in your camera which I believe is an amazing function. It can also shoot videos and also time-lapses. One feature that is wonderful about time-lapse is its motion sequence which allows the camera to move when recording. I normally use it as a second camera for recording time-lapse as well as using other cameras for normal vlogging for the same content. This helps me get both views and later I can edit the video as required. You can also attach your phone with a USB connector to the camera and use more advanced features through the DJI app.

You can also achieve tap and track videos through this feature. From the screen, select the moving object and it will rotate during recording.  As the camera can record 4k video, you can achieve awesome videos. Also, it allows you to record slow-motion videos which I believe is not very stabilized, however, this feature is not very bad in this money. Plus, its focus is not very credible when speaking of closer shots and distant shots.

It has 1.08 inches touch screen LCD which is smaller compared to my other cameras and you cannot notice that your face is not focused, however, you can connect it to your phone for a wider view. It has 2 microphones: one at the bottom and the other near the display screen. Its battery life is not plenty enough to take you for 3 hours and above when taking motion lapse. However, it’s a great device for vlogging because it is very handy and simple to use.

  • It has 3 axis gimbal stabilizer that helps you with stabilization in vlogging
  • You can make 4k videos with this camera
  • It is good with the low light
